I started in 1985. It was going well until 2003. In 2004 the tsunami hit the coast of Sri Lanka and with it the New Imperial Hotel. We brushed the dust out of our clothes, rebuilt the hotel and got back on our feet.
The Hikka Fest was 2009/2010 one of the biggest events we had in Hikkaduwa. In 2019/2022 we had a crisis that affected us all.
So let’s celebrate life in 2023 and be thankful for our health, happiness looking back and thank God and all who helped us to survive when we needed it most. We are looking forward to your visit!
